Demonstration of Dual Sensor Mine Detector
On February 25, 2022, Defentec Ltd. in collaboration with Minelab Electronics Pty. Ltd., Australia held a briefing for the Royal Thai Army Ordnance Department on the capabilities of the Dual Sensor Mine Detector, Minelab model MDS-10, with the intension of improving the operators' capability in searching for suspicious objects, Landmines and also the Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) that are buried underground.
The MDS-10 Detector combine features between a Metal Detector and Ground Penetrate Radar which its capable to detect both Metal and Non-Metal Objects. This is a step forward from the old system that could only detect metal, to the new system that can work on both systems at the same time or select to work on one system independently. It could also show and send the alarm by visually, audio and vibration.
