Lecture course for students at Department of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Kasetsart University Bangkhen
It has been an honor for our surveying division – Hollywood International Ltd. that Civil Engineer Department, Faculty of Engineering, Kasetsart University Bangkhen invited us to lecture and demonstrate the GNSS surveying technology to students. On that day, the class divided into 2 sessions.
First, we began with field session. Our lecturer explained how to use the basic surveying with Trimble GNSS receiver which are our 2 popular models (Trimble R8s and Trimble R12) and 1 new small light weight model - Trimble DA2 receiver. After the demonstration, we also provided the students the hands-on session for them to gain the real experience and to feel how easy it was.
Then we moved inside the classroom to begin the second session. Our lecturer showed how to transfer, process and compare the collected data from session one to make the students see workflow from field to office solution. Furthermore, we had a little prize for students who win the game we provided as one of our thankful feeling.
