Practical point in OBGYN
From February 26-28, 2025, the Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University, organized a scientific and practical conference in Obstetrics and Gynecology under the theme "Practical Points in OBGYN." The objective of the event was to enhance knowledge in sperm preparation and selection and to provide hands-on training for skills applicable in the preparation for IUI and ICSI procedures.
The Scientific Instruments Division supported the event by providing Nikon Microscopes with Phase Contrast Technology and introducing a SwimCount Harvester to assist in sperm selection for subsequent steps such as IUI or ICSI.
This equipment is user-friendly, facilitating convenience and reducing work time while ensuring that sperm quality is not compromised during the centrifugation process.
