Wireless Direction Finding (Plug & Fly) Presentation
On September 27th and 28th 2022, Defentec Ltd. has organized a presentation of the Wireless Direction Finding (Plug & Fly) to the Directorate of Operation, Royal Thai Air Force, and the Royal Thai Naval Air Division.
Defentec Ltd. (a subsidiary of HTT Group) has been a distributor of innovative military security technology products from Europe and America for more than 20 years. Currently representing the Wireless Direction Finding (Plug & Fly) manufactured by HR-Smith from United Kingdom. Which is an ELT or PLB device locating system suitable for locate and rescue victims of an aircraft crash or capsized. The Plug & Fly system is a wireless connection between antenna and display, this allows for high flecibility in mission as it does not require a complicated wiring inside the aircraft. It can receive signal from frequencies of 121.5, 243, and 406 MHz, which are emergency search and rescue frequencies. It has capability to detect the signals up to 50 km with high accuracy not more than 5 degrees discrepancy. It can decode the coordinate, aircraft tail number, etc. which is encoded in 406 MHz frequency from the ELT as Cospas-Sarsat standards. The system meet the MIL-STD-810 and MIL-STD-461 standard. Plug & Fly is lightweight, built-in battery for 6 hours of continuous mission.
