"Unlock Infertility Treatment"
On January 28th, 2023 - Scientific Instruments Division joined the seminar "Unlock Infertility Treatment" by Thonburi Bamrungmuang Hospital.
We showcased the ASTEC CCM-IBIS Timelapse Incubator from Japan, and Thonburi Bamrungmuang Hospital selected CCM-IBIS to be one of the instruments in their IVF laboratory.
CCM-IBIS is an Embryo Culture Incubator with a built-in microscope and camera. The camera automatically takes pictures of the embryos at the set, at timely intervals throughout the cultivation.
Those pictures will be used to compose a time-lapse video, recording the embryo's stage of development.
Entire embryonic development can be recorded with a time-lapse camera, whereas routine observations under the microscope do not allow us to capture all these time points since they can vary between embryos.
Scientists can review the development of embryos at any point in time without removing them from their incubators. In this seminar, important information was shared with the customer to make them confident with the selected instrument in the clinic.
