Participated in the Building Construction Technology Expo (BCT EXPO) 2023
On July 20th–22nd, 2023, the Surveying Instruments Division participated in the Building Construction Technology Expo (BCT EXPO) 2023, a Southeast Asian Exhibition & Conference platform focused on the building and construction industry. BCT Expo is organized to drive & support digital acceleration changes in every aspect of architectural design, building, & construction through the application of digital technologies. There are over 4,000 trade attendees and 150 international and local exhibiting companies from various sectors of the building and construction industry in ASEAN coming.
In our booth, we brought many cutting-edge products and technologies from various brands. For example, a product from the Trimble brand is the Trimble X9 3D Scanner. This high-speed scanner is still easy to use and convenient. Our product specialist demonstrated the Trimble X9 and allowed visitors to try it out. “It was very easy to use, and the point clouds were registered accurately and realistically," said one of the visitors. Trimble X9 is perfectly suited for digital construction. Another product that gained attention from the visitors was the Proceq Ground Penetrating Radar - GS8000. With the capability of scanning up to 80 meters deep, it helps in drilling, construction, and maintenance work done accurately. It also helps prevent damage caused by drilling over any sensitive utility pipes. There were many visitors continuously interested in visiting our booth, including students, teachers, engineers, academics, and experts, throughout those 3 days.
