However, there has been a significant rise in the use of technology to revolutionize inspection processes and reduce human involvement. Yet, these technologies still have limitations, such as limited viewing angles, unadjustable algorithms, and fixed lighting.
 
ViTrox has recognized these inspection challenges and integrated a mobile robot with an intelligent inspection head into their V9i system to overcome these limitations. This system is equipped with a 6-axis robot arm and an intelligent inspection head, allowing comprehensive inspections covering various aspects of production. It can inspect labels on packaging, perform OCR-based text inspections, measure part sizes and gaps, check for missing or deformed parts, and verify the completeness and accuracy of assembled components. Moreover, it can also detect surface abnormalities on parts that deviate from the original design.
