Lecture on academic seminar, Forestry Land Management - Royal Forestry Department

On 11th-13th September 2024, it was an honor for us that our Survey Instruments Division was invited as guest speakers and trainers for an academic seminar on "The Use of Multi-frequency GNSS Receivers in Forestry Land Management Missions."  for the Royal Forest Department officers.

During the training, participants gained in-depth knowledge of GNSS theory and hands-on experience with various operating modes, including Static, Real-time Kinematic (RTK) with internal radio and external radio, and Stakeout functions. They also practiced baseline processing and tested the performance of satellite signal reception in environments with obstructions or interference, such as under tree canopies or near buildings. This training ensured that our customers are fully proficient and equipped to effectively use Trimble Technology to set control points and define forest boundaries across the country efficiently and precisely.
