The 2nd Optometry Conference organized by the Faculty of Optometry
On June 20, 2025 - Medical Instruments Division participated in the 2nd Optometry Conference organized by the Faculty of Optometry, Ramkhamhaeng University held at the Avani Ratchada Hotel in Bangkok. Sales representatives showcased variety of instruments and equipment used for examining, diagnosing, and measuring vision, including:
1. Lens Meter or Lens Light Meter (Reichert brand, LensChek Pro Model, made in USA). This device used to measure the power of eyeglass lenses, contact lenses, or other lenses to evaluate their vision correction capabilities. It measures parameters such as sphere, cylinder, axis, and prism of the lenses.
2. Retinoscope-Ophthalmoscope LED Set (made in Japan). This highly accurate device used to assess the vision of patients of all ages, including young children and patients and those who are bedridden. It can detect cataracts and perform over-reflections on glasses or contact lenses to verify the accuracy of the vision correction.
3. Luneau Prism Set (made in France). This set is designed to measure individuals with eye muscle function issues, which can lead to abnormal eye movements or coordination problems between the two eyes.
4. Stereo Optical 3D Image Test Kit (made in USA). This device evaluates stereopsis, which is the ability of both eyes to perceive the same object as a single image and to understand the depth of that image.
