Training session on Trimble GNSS Receivers for officers of the Department of National Parks, Wildlife, and Plant Conservation.

On May 6-7, 2026, the Surveying Instruments Division conducted a training session on Trimble GNSS Receivers for officers of the Department of National Parks, Wildlife, and Plant Conservation.

The training began with instructions on operating the Trimble DA2 GNSS receiver paired with the Trimble TDC6 Controller. Following this, the team led the officers in a field training session that included live demonstrations and hands-on practice. Participants learned how to measure coordinates using both Static and RTK (Real-Time Kinematic) Surveying Methods, and then processed the collected coordinate data using Trimble Business Center (TBC) Software.

As a result of the training, the participants gained a clear understanding of the surveying processes. They are now well-equipped to apply these new skills and data to enhance and expedite their ongoing work.
