Training Carlson Boretrak2 Borehole deviation to Department Primary Industries and Mines officers at TPI

Our Surveying Division delivered the Carlson Boretrak 2 Borehole deviation measurement system to Department of Primary Industries and Mines. The Boretrak 2 will be used with the 3D scanner that scans the mine surface. The surface generated from point cloud will be used for designing where the blast hole should be located.
Boretrak 2 is easy to use, light weight and ergonomics. A few step of assembly, waiting for automatic connection with tablet and then slowly drop into the blast hole. Measurement will be collected by just only one tap on a measure button on the RT4 tablet through a powerful software – Carlson Boretrak software. Numerous of useful data can easily measure and collect such as depth, inclination, the difference between design hole and measurement etc. The software also allow users to see the progress and the result of measurement in 3D graphic model in the field before transfer to office computer for processing and analyzing.
