Lecture course at Faculty of Science and Technology, Thammasat University Rangsit campus

Surveying division delivered Trimble R12i advanced GNSS receivers to Faculty of Science and Technology at Thammasat University Rangsit campus. It has been an honor for us to be an instructor in the topic of GNSS Survey fundamental and how to use the Trimble R12i GNSS and process with Trimble Business Center office software.
Since the GNSS surveying has been getting more attention and popular in both public and private sector. This is a good opportunity for students to learn, practice and use the hi-technology equipment and powerful software. Doing GNSS surveying by Trimble R12i can deliver several of productivity such as collecting GIS database, stakeout and design, aerial surveying and photogrammetry etc.
Trimble R12i GNSS is the most advance Trimble GNSS receiver. With 672-channel solution with Trimble 360 satellite tracking technology, the Trimble R12i is able to track and receive all the positioning satellites constellation around the world and quickly initialize and getting high-accuracy even in challenge environment. GNSS correction signal from CORS station and satellites (Trimble RTX) is supported worldwide which can achieve 1-4 cm. accuracy in less than a minute initialization (in fast region). Trimble xFill correction outage technology play an important row to sustain the position accuracy where the correction signal is lost. The last but not the least, Trimble Inertial Platform (TIP) technology IMU-based tilt compensation can compensate the pole tilted up to 30 degrees for topo measurements and stakeout.
