Phacoemulsification Workshop
On December 14–15, 2022, Medical Instruments Division brought the Takagi Operating Microscope, Model OM-19, from Japan to support the training of medical students in ophthalmic skills for the "Phacoemulsification Workshop" at the Department of Ophthalmology, Faculty of Medicine, University of Mahidol, Siriraj Hospital.
The OM-19 Operating Microscope is an LED Ophthalmic Surgical Microscope with nine brightness settings and the ability to independently control the light intensity of the coaxial and red reflex lenses. Red reflex illumination enhances the clarity of the lens details, making it suitable for cataract surgery.
