SIRIRAJ Ophthalmology Open House 2023
On February 6, 2023 - Medical Instruments Division brought Takagi an Operating Microscope model OM-19 from Japan and Visionix Digital Slit Lamp model MW50D from France to join the activity "SIRIRAJ Ophthalmology Open House 2023" for training ophthalmology skills at the Department of Ophthalmology Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital Mahidol University.
The LED ophthalmic operating microscope OM-19 has 9 levels of light brightness adjustment and separate controls for coaxial and reflex light intensity. It is suitable for cataract surgery. The primary device used in eye examination is a digital slit lamp model MW50D, which extends from the front part of the eye, the eyelid, to the posterior segment, the retina. The digital camera can magnify the image up to 50 times and has an LED light source, resulting in natural images.
