On-site training course for the Carlson Boretrak2 Borehole Deviation Measurement System and Carlson Quarryman Pro 3D Laser Scanning System

Our Surveying Instruments Division organized an on-site training course for the Carlson Boretrak2 Borehole Deviation Measurement System and Carlson Quarryman Pro 3D Laser Scanning System for the designated officers of the Department of Primary Industries and Mines. This solution aims to collect the quarry surface and the borehole deviation between designed and drilled holes and then analyze them before blasting. Each blast will be more cost-effective and safe for the surroundings.

-             Quarry surfaces on both the front side and the ground above where the blast drilled holes are will be collected by Quarryman Pro. With a scan speed of 200 points per second, long-range EDM, and ease of use, Quarryman delivers point clouds and generates 3D surfaces in the software.
-             Boretrak2 measures the borehole deviation of the drilled hole. The RT4 Tablet can display real-time data in 3D graphics such as depth, inclination, deviation, between designed and drilled holes, etc. Back in the office, Carlson Blast OPS Software processes the data collected data from both equipment and report to the team before blasting.
A good blast can reduce time and cost and increase productivity.
