M22 Optima IPL
The M22 Optima IPL uses Intense Pulse Light (IPL), which releases energy with light of a specific wavelength and is focused on a target area, to treat dry eyes or chronic eyelid inflammation. In order to reduce inflammation in the eyelids, this induces aberrant blood vessels in the eyelids to shrink. Additionally, it improves the function of the Meibomian Gland in the eyelids, causing blocked fat to disintegrate resulting in improved tear production over time. Eyelash mites (Demodex), one of the reasons for persistent eyelid inflammation, can also be eliminated by this method.
