The Phoropter is a device used by ophthalmologists to measure a patient's eye refraction and determine their prescription. It's also known as a refractor. The examinations are divided into three (3) solutions:
1.
Check Eyesight (Refractive Error)
- Check for near-sightedness/long-sightedness.
- Check for astigmatism. and the degree of astigmatism
- Balancing both eyes
2.
Check the eye muscles and the coordination of both eyes
- Check for cross-eyedness.
3.
Check the focus of the eye lens
- Check the vision most comfortable for the eyes at a distance of 40 cm.
Check the ability to focus the eye lens. Check the ability to relax the focus of the eye lens.
